Spectrum 70 External Solar window film - Shopfront - Totnes, South Devon

Commercial

A customer in Totnes, South Devon asked us if we could apply a film that would let in as much natural light as possible whilst providing UV light protection and heat control on the fabrics being displayed in the shop window, to prevent fading damage and then becoming unsaleable. Our spectrally selective externally applied 'Spectrum 70' film would provide the best results for this situation. It has better energy rejection rates being installed on the outside, in that the energy is being halted before it even enters the panes of glass. Spectrally selective films offer greater combined light transmission and heat rejection over metallised versions that have less light transmission and are more reflective, which wouldn't be good in this situation, being a shop window and people being able to see in.
